Matt Rhoderick and Jessica Powell are a husband and wife design team and the founders of River Cottage Studio. Matt is a Registered Landscape Architect and Certified Planner, with LEED accreditation and MDE stormwater certification. Jessica draws Interior Decorating expertise from her years as an artist and teacher, as well as her planning experience, both from the site and event planning perspective. Their design philosophy stems from their shared work in the construction industry, designing and building for their neighbors, friends and new clients with whom they shape a lifelong bond. They live in Crownsville, MD with their 3 kids, and when not at work can be found volunteering in their community, coaching soccer, or boating on the Severn.
